The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1906, and serves as the voice of the business community in the City of Alexandria through aggressive lobbying efforts at the local, state, and federal levels.
In addition, the Chamber offers a variety of programs and services to assist members promote and expand their business. Today, the City of Alexandria is thriving and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce continues to provide vital services to its members and takes the lead in striving to maintain the balance of high quality of life and economic vitality.
The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce continues to build strong membership value for women executives and business owners through merger with the Alexandria Professional Women’s Network. Programs and services will expand opportunities for new business, friendships/partnerships, leadership roles, and professional development.
Each month, the Chamber holds networking and special events that provide members with valuable contacts and opportunities to connect with prospective clients.
