Lisa Weiner has worked for almost 20 years at the federal, state, local, district and school levels to conduct education and youth development research and evaluation.
In addition, she has been an adult English as a second language instructor for more than 20 years, teaching in public school, community college, and workplace settings.
A dedicated education researcher, technical assitance provider, and adult English as a Second Language instructor, Lisa works with urban schools and organizations conduct and help them use evaluation to illuminate solutions to issues and build capacity. She also has been an adult ESL instructor for many years and is the CEO of Construction English, which designs and implements custom curricula for construction companies who wish to help their employees build their skills in English.
Lisa holds teaching certification and a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an MA in multicultural and bilingual education from Stanford University. Currently, she is the mother of a second grader and an active volunteer at her local elementary school.
